Chris Hannon
Dr Chris graduated from the University of Monash in 1977 and is an experienced GP with more than 20 years of experience in clinical practice. He is a senior lecturer of the University of Queensland School of Medicine and has been actively involved in clinical teaching of medical students and mentoring of GP registrars in the last 20 years. Dr. Chris had been the recipient of the RACGP Mary Maloney Award and holds a diploma with the Australasian College of Skin Cancer. He has a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis using dermoscopy and advanced skills in procedures and minor surgery which involves doing flap and graft repairs. Dr Chris had volunteered as a doctor providing medical care in the Solomon Islands with an international team of doctors and nurses. Outside of medicine Dr Chris enjoys dabbing on the share-market and doing geeky things on the computer. Dr Chris loves his Apples gadgets.
Dr Dora Lee
FRACGP, MBBS (University of Queensland), B PHTY (University of Queensland) Dr Dora obtained her bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Queensland in 2007 after working as a physiotherapist. She was inspired into general practice by Dr Chris as a medical student and trained by Dr John as a registrar and feels privileged to share the vision and work alongside with two of the most accomplished general practitioners she had known. Dr Dora enjoys all areas of general practice and has particular interest in travel medicine, child health and women’s health. She had obtained the Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health with Family Planning Queensland and the Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine. Dr Dora had been the GP Hospital Ambassador for GP training consortium in 2009 and had volunteered her time as a doctor providing medical care in the Solomon Islands. Outside of medicine, Dr Dora enjoys being involved in hosting and organising community cultural events such as the Lunar New Year Festival. She is a diver and is qualified to do diving medicals and managing diving related medical conditions. Dr Dora loves her Japanese food and is a wannabe percussionist who tries hard to keep her beat.
Dr John Kastrissios
Dr John graduated from the University of Queensland in xxxx and had been a well-respected clinician, leader and educator in general practice for over 20 years. He is the Chair of the Greater Metro South Brisbane Medicare Local and the director and former Board Chair of General Practice Queensland. Dr John is an accomplished speaker and regularly presents in education sessions for general practitioners on diabetes, mental health, asthma just to name a few. Dr John is a dedicated teacher who enjoys all facets of general practice and had trained many medical students and general practice registrars for over 20 years. Dr. John is a Board Director of the Australian General Practice Network and a former Director and Board Chair of the South East Primary HealthCare Network. In 2008, he received the John Aloizos Medal for outstanding individual contribution to the Australian General Practice Network. Dr John’s mission is to improve the standards of General Practice in Australia. Outside of medicine, Dr John enjoys bike riding and occasionally gets competitive with his golf tournaments.
